Welcome Visitor,

Dog Friendly Sydney

After a recent trip to New York, humble owners of PawsAbout were amazed at how many pet friendly places there are in the US. Pets are allowed in restaurants, hotels and public transport. In Sydney we also have some wonderful things to do and see with human's best friend.

Many Sydneysiders are lucky to enjoy dog friendly places in Sydney. Be it a short break in the City or a trip, Sydney proves to be a town of many possibilities.

Lets begin with a short break not too far from home.... - Sebel Pier One hotel offers Pampered Pets Escape Package. The package offers canine guests to be treated to own trampoline bed, water bowl and in house menu (PawsAbout part owner Maltalier Lola also got a high quality free toy!). The visitors enjoy overnight accommodation in a heritage room with direct access to the Pier (good for toilet breaks in the nearby park), human full buffet breakfast for two (served alfresco, of course). We have been lucky to enjoy a wonderful stay at Siebel Pier One and dined alfresco overlooking Millson's Point distant lights at one of the finest restaurants. It almost felt like we were in New York.

If you staying in one of pet friendly hotels that are situated close Sydney's Eastern Suburbs you can visit PawsAbout Pet Boutique for some funky dog collars, dog leads and pet accessories. If you pooch is in need of some dog grooming and pampering we employ Sydney's most experienced pet groomers and even recommend a cat groomer.

Sydney is also home to the Australia's first Pet Restaurant owned by Naoko and her lovely husband. Chew Chew provides delicious, organic and fresh dog food that can be enjoyed at the restaurant as well as packed as a take away meal. Naoko is a qualified Pet Nutritionist and understands the needs of healthy and nutritious meals for your dog. All ingredients are carefully selected and prepared at Chew Chew's restaurant. Lola has immensely enjoyed her meals served on numerous occasions where Chew Chew staff made so much fuss about her.

While visiting Sydney why not capture your best friend in the best light by visiting Ruth O'Leary from Ruthless Photos for an amazing dog portrait. Ruth's is an award winning photographer and is based in the Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Ruth and her husband Dave are proud owners of three staffies and are passionate about foster care and rescue work for dogs.

To wrap up your visit it can be fun to really connect with your dog and visit Manon who is a certified Theta Healer and emphatic intuitive Animal healer. She is able to tune into your animals' friend emotional inner world and pick up their feeling, emotions, fears, beliefs and traumas. She can identify what is blocking them from achieving greater health and happiness.
